assuming that you applied and got accepted
lets start with university
if you also got admitted at a university this is how nsfas is going to work with you
you are firstly payed a book allowance which is usually R5200 at the beginning of the year and then you get payed a monthly meal stiped of R1500 for ten months from feb to nov
now if you are doing main curriculum they pay you a book allowance of R4200 the remaining amount will be payed on the next semester
The is a rule called N + 2 let me make an example so that you understand clearly this rule
lets say you course will take 4 years assuming you don't fail NSFAS will fund you for 6 meaning nsfas has a back up of 2 years
thank you please leave a comment if you want me to also write about collages or unisa
